We’re nearing two years of being your local newsroom, and The 51st team is ready to party!
We’d like to invite you to our two-year anniversary celebration on Thursday, October 8 at 6 p.m., hosted and sponsored by Urban Garden Brewing — a Black-woman, D.C.-native-owned brewery that opened in Shaw this summer.
This shindig will also serve as a release party for our first-ever print edition! We’re partnering with The Pack World to produce a physical spread of local D.C. news — something our readers have been asking for and we, quite frankly, don’t see enough of these days.
