About this Event
Head of NASA’s streaming service, NASA+, Rebecca Sirmons, and Artemis II Optical Lead, Nikki Desch, will share how NASA used laser communications to transmit high-definition video, imagery, and mission data across nearly 250,000 miles of space, bringing the sights and experiences of our astronauts directly to millions of people on Earth. Discover how this groundbreaking technology is shaping the future of human exploration and helping NASA connect humanity through the golden age of space exploration.
This presentation is in-person only and will be followed by a Q&A for guests to interact directly with our NASA experts.
Before or after the event, guests can choose their own adventure with a NASA-themed cafe to indulge in, the NASA Exchange store to peruse, and two immersive spaces to discover artifacts, rover replicas, Moon rocks and more!
