Cassandra Atherton is an award-winning and widely anthologised prose poet, and Distinguished Professor of Writing and Literature at Deakin University. Her books of prose poetry include Exhumed (2016), Trace (2016), Pre-Raphaelite (2018), and Leftovers (2020) and the forthcoming Short Poems (Life Before Man, 2026). She is currently writing a book of prose poetry on the Hiroshima Maidens and the atomic bomb. Cassandra is dispatches editor of The Fortnightly Review, associate editor at MadHat Press (USA) and commissioning editor for Westerly magazine.
Martin Dolan is a Canberra poet who has been writing and publishing for more than thirty years. For a long time he moonlighted as a public servant, but retired to write full time in 2016. Martin has published four poetry collections, most recently On the Record (Recent Work Press, 2023). Martin is a Scot by birth, but has been here long enough to have lost his Edinburgh accent.
