About this Event
Join us for a warm and cozy Thanksgiving community supper on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at 1033 College Street. Whether you are a lifelong Toronto resident, a recent arrival to the city, or a visitor wanting to experience a classic Canadian Thanksgiving, spend the evening enjoying a festive buffet-style meal with all the sides and dessert. The event features live music from a local artist performing throughout the evening and relaxed group activities designed to bring people together. Before dinner, we’ll take a moment to reflect on the year and share what we’re thankful for. Come hungry, meet new people, take photos, enjoy the music, and leave with great memories. Tickets are $55 and include supper and live music.
Agenda
🕑: 04:00 PM - 04:30 PM
Getting to meet everyone
Info: Find your name on the list, grab a drink, put your coat down. A full half hour of arriving, so turning up at 4:20 is completely fine.
🕑: 04:30 PM - 05:30 PM
Music while people settle
Info: A talented artist will play in the corner. It’s a background set, not a concert, nobody has to sit still and face the stage, and you can talk right through it.
🕑: 05:30 PM - 06:00 PM
A few words before we eat
Info: A few words before we eat.
We will go around the room and say thanks to the year past, not a prayer, just what the year gave you, what you’re hoping for, what you’re glad about. Say a sentence or say nothing; both are fine.
🕑: 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Supper
Info: Everything comes out at once, buffet-style. A hearty main dish, the sides, and desserts. Go back for seconds, that’s what it’s there for.
🕑: 07:00 PM - 08:00 PM
The memorable goodbye
Info: Coffee, last bit of dessert, the part where people swap numbers and stand around by the door for twenty minutes. Leave whenever suits you.
