About this Event
We create safe spaces and community engagement, using zines as a tool for connection, reflection, and healing.
Join us for a day of textile zine making!
We will use texture to invoke memories and explore the emotional connections those memeries can make.
These hands on workshops will provide you with all the tools to:
- Repurpose old materials.
- Live more sustainably.
- Share stories and experiences.
- Build connections and make new friends.
All sessions are free to attend.
This event will be photographed
We will bring sewing machines, and sewing tools and a variety of scrap materials.
You can also bring your own scaps, old textiles and old clothes.
This event is part of the Green Libraries Hub project. 5 Pancras Square Library is a Green Library Hub, part of a national programme led by CILIP and funded by the National Lottery, exploring the libraries' role in supporting communities to take climate action.
