About this Event
Texas poetry meets contemporary jazz in a live interdisciplinary performance at the Texas Music Museum.
Double Vision Jazz Ensemble joins San Antonio Poet Laureate Eddie Vega and poet Jacqueline Miller for an evening combining original poetry, new jazz composition, rhythmic interpretation, and live improvisation.
Double Vision co-leaders and composers Hank Hehmsoth and John Mills will create music inspired by selected poems, bringing together Texas voices, contemporary jazz, spoken word, and cultural storytelling in a one-of-a-kind live program.
