This is a brand-new opportunity for the Dana-Thomas House. Please make sure to read ALL of the information below before signing up.
Children ages 4-15 (accompanied by an adult) are invited to bring one of their stuffed animals to the Dana Thomas House for a craft, shortened tour of the house, and a snack. After exploring the house together, your stuffed animal will stay overnight and have the chance to go on their own adventure through the house.
Pick up of the stuffed animals will take place the next day (Sunday) at the Sumac Shop (gift shop) located across the street from the Dana-Thomas House (302 E. Lawrence Avenue, light grey house with a maroon banner on the front). Pick up is from 10am to 4:30pm. The stuffed animals will be waiting there along with a special gift and a little book to show their adventures with all the other stuffed animals.
There are two ticket types available for this event. Please read carefully to be sure you have selected the correct tickets for your party:
- Child Ages 4-15 tickets are for children in this age range, who will be bringing a stuffed animal for the sleepover. If Eventbrite shows the child tickets are sold out, please contact us at [email protected] for more information and to let us know your interest in attending.
- Adult Chaperone tickets are for the responsible adult accompanying the child for the tour/program and helping the child pick up the animal the following day. Guests with these tickets may assist their child with program activities, but will not be leaving an animal for the sleepover/making their own crafts.
NOTES:
* A responible adult MUST accompany the child during the entire Saturday event, as well as the pickup time on Sunday.
*We recommend NOT bringing your very favorite stuffed animal along since they will be sleeping overnight in the house, but maybe your favorite stuffed animal’s best friend. Please be sure any stuffed animals that need to be with you at bedtime (or any other special time of day), stay home with you.
*A picture will be taken of each child and their stuffed animal at the beginning of the event. This picture will be used for the purpose of pick up only to make sure each stuffed animal goes home with the correct child. This picture will not be used for anything else and will NOT be posted on social media.
*We would like to know ahead of time if your child has any allergies. For snack time we will be offering juice and cookies. There is a box provided on the order form to list any allergies that they may have and how we can make snack time work for your child.
