University of Illinois Extension and Lincoln Memorial Garden are offering a three-part native landscape design series this autumn. Throughout the series, Illinois Extension staff and Master Gardener and Master Naturalist volunteers will share a comprehensive guide to creating pollinator-friendly native plant gardens – from initial planning to implementation.
On Saturday, November 7, participants will learn how to use graph paper to design, plot, and draw their native garden plan. By designing your native garden plan ahead of time, you'll be ready to hit the ground running in Spring.
Registration for the series is only $10. To register, visit https://registration.extension.illinois.edu/start/native-garden-design-series-1. Attendance at the other installments in the series is recommended but not required.
