About this Event
This is a hybrid event. Online attendees will be given a link to join after registration. The in-person venue will be in G20 Seminar Room.
This is a “NASH Methods in Action” session that will bring together two presentations exploring challenges in estimating causal effects using cohort and electronic health record (EHR) data. The talks highlight issues such as missing data, using time-varying exposures and confounders, and immortal time bias, and discuss how the target trial emulation (TTE) framework can help address them. This event will highlight how TTE clarifies causal questions, improves study design, and supports more transparent and robust inference when working with real-world data from cohorts and EHR.
