Many people with type 1 diabetes leave appointments with pages of numbers, but little clarity about what those numbers actually mean or what to ask next.If you’ve ever been told, “Your labs look fine!” but you feel far from it, you know what I mean!
In this educational session, you will learn how to recognize meaningful patterns in CGM data, understand why lab trends over time can matter more than isolated results, and turn confusing health information into three clear questions for your care team.
You will leave with a simple worksheet, greater clarity, and a practical next step for your next appointment.
*The presentation will remain strictly educational and will not provide individualized diagnosis, treatment, medication, or insulin advice.*
This month we welcome an INCREDIBLE guest speaker, Dr. Mo Peerani! Mo is a functional health physician, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since 2000 and celiac disease since 2013. He brings both clinical and firsthand experience managing his own blood sugars within the top 1% of glucose ranges. His goal is to help T1Ds better understand what their data may be showing, identify what deserves attention, and leave their next appointment with greater clarity about what to discuss and do next.
Through his own experience and working with patients, he’s seen firsthand that understanding the hidden forces pulling the strings behind blood sugar fluctuations is essential to achieving optimal glucose management.
