About this Event
Pause: For a Healthier You
The holiday season can be beautiful, but it can also be busy and overwhelming. Between caring for others, managing responsibilities, and keeping up with everyday life, we often forget to pause and care for ourselves.
Pause: For a Healthier You is a free, in-person faith-based wellness workshop created for women, especially moms, who need a moment to slow down, reconnect, and be intentional about their well-being.
During this workshop, we’ll explore:
• How stress can affect our mind and body
• The basics of the nervous system and stress response
• The connection between the nervous system, the vagus nerve, and our sense of well-being
• Somatic awareness and becoming more aware of what our bodies are communicating
• Simple, practical tools for grounding and regulation
• Breathing, grounding exercises, gentle movement, journaling, and EFT tapping
• Ways to create small moments of pause and care in everyday life
We’ll also make space for faith, reflection, connection, and encouragement as we prepare for one of the busiest seasons of the year.
This isn’t about adding another thing to your to-do list or trying to become “perfect.” It’s about giving yourself permission to pause.
Come as you are. Take a breath. Make space for yourself.
Hosted by Todo Mujer Inc., a faith-based nonprofit committed to supporting women in their spiritual, emotional, and personal well-being.
Space is limited to 25 participants. Registration is required.
