TAKOHACHI Presents: Kamishibai Storytelling on the Big Screen with Live Mus
Experience Kamishibai storytelling brought to life on the big screen — with live Japanese music performed by Takohachi.
This special production blends traditional Kamishibai (紙芝居) picture‑story theater with contemporary stage presentation, featuring original artwork by illustrator Keiko Tosaka projected in full cinematic scale.
You’ll enjoy a rich mix of shamisen, shinobue, taiko, and narration, creating an immersive performance suitable for all ages. This is a rare chance to see Kamishibai in a theater setting, combining visual art, music, and storytelling into one unforgettable show.
