Beginner Level classes run on Sundays.10.30am-11.30am. No previous experience needed.

We meet on the greens opposite 8 Lake Ave.

WET weather option, Shotover Primary School. We meet at the long end of the rugby field where there is a cover from the school building.

Foundations and forms.

Instructor: Yuxin Liu, disciple of Master Chen Zhonghua. 20th generation of Chen Style Taijiquan.
Yuxin has been a fitness instructor since 2016 and has been teaching Tai Chi in Queenstown since 2018.

Improve joints health.
Improve strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination and stability.
Improve concentration.
Encourage energy flow.
Meet with other practitioners in the region.

Kids over 7 years old are welcome!

Please make sure to register your interest!

Please wear flat shoes, comfortable loose clothes and bring a water bottle.

We are outdoors, please dress warmly for winter!

Chen Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi) Practical Method is the very traditional Chinese martial art! The theory is a complex and complete system. The principles are unique, clear and strict. We follow the way of ancients to practice this deep art.

Traditional Art - Modern Teaching! We are under Master Chen Zhonghua lineage. Master Chen Zhonghua is the 19th generation of Chen Style Taijiquan and the international standard bearer of Practical Method. Your teacher in Queenstown is Yuxin Liu, the disciple of Master Chen Zhonghua.

If time does not work for you. Please check out our regular weekly practice in Queenstown Shotover Country. Any level or age are welcome! Group class is $20 per person for one hour. Private sessions available on demand. Thank you!
