Workshop details:
Monday 19th October - Spring Planting (Grow Your Garden):
Get your garden off to the right start with tips for creating healthy soil, choosing what and when to plant, protecting your garden from the Central Otago elements, and growing successfully in raised beds, containers, buckets — or wherever you have space. You’ll also discover the secrets of successful composting, from hot and cold compost to tumblers and bins.
Monday 2nd November - Summer Harvest (Gather, Nourish, Grow):
Make the most of your garden through the warmer months. Learn when to harvest, what to do with your produce, what to plant next, and how to keep plants happy in glasshouses and tunnel houses. We’ll also dive into bokashi composting and worm farms, from simple worm tubes to Hungry Bins, and how they can turn your food scraps into garden goodness.
