Get your day off to a great start with our morning T'ai Chi sessions on the Terrace!Start your day with 30 minutes of gentle movement in one of Bath's most iconic settings and enjoy exclusive early-morning access to the Roman Baths Terrace before the site opens to visitors.
Join Paddy Nisbett, a qualified private T'ai Chi instructor, for these informal and welcoming weekly sessions held from 8:00am to 8:30am. T'ai Chi is said to help improve balance, mobility, posture and relaxation, making it the perfect way to start your morning.
Our sessions run every Tuesday within the following weeks:
Tuesday 15 September - Tuesday 17 November
Tuesday 12 January 2027 - Tuesday 16 March
Tuesday 6 April - Tuesday 8 June
Tuesday 22 June - Tuesday 24 August
Tuesday 14 September - Tuesday 16 November
Each session is just £4 (cash only on the day), and you can join us for any session that fits your schedule—no need to commit to all 10 weeks. All skill levels are welcome, and no prior experience is needed.
How to book
No need to pre-book, just turn up on the day at the Pump Room entrance on Stall Street (up a couple of steps opposite Bath Street/Primark) a few minutes before 8.00am. Do contact us if you'd like more information before coming along.
What to bring
You just need to bring £4 cash and comfortable clothing. During warmer weather, you may be more comfortable if you bring a cool drink and possibly a hat as the Outer Terrace can be quite a sun trap. During colder weather, wrap up warm. We try and stay outdoors as much as possible, so wear hats, gloves etc.
