‘From hack to flack – lessons & stories from three decades in journalism & PR’
We’re delighted to welcome Kevin Maxwell, a good friend of the Packhorse, for an evening of stories from three decades on both sides of the media fence.
Kevin spent 20 years in newsrooms including the BBC, Bloomberg, AP, Sky News and ABC, working as a reporter, producer and news desk manager, before making the move into PR. Now he spends his time persuading journalists to write about his clients – and, happily for us, helping get the Packhorse noticed too. Come along for stories from the newsroom, the tricks of the PR trade, a bit of behind-the-scenes media gossip and plenty of tales from a career spent chasing the news.
