SymfUni is back this fall with its new project: Poetic Dances! This November and December, come listen to our new program spanning over the energetic and rhythmical second symphony of Kurt Weil to the mysterious and intense inflexions of ‘Theses Worlds within Us’ by Missy Mazzoli (national premiere for Denmark!). Because we thought the more, the better, we also prepared for you a selection of airs from Alexander Borodin’s iconic ‘Prince Igor’ opera, and the grandiose folk-infused piece ‘Dances of Galánta’ by Zoltán Kodály. We are looking forward to interpret this great program for you !Because of the success of the previous edition, we propose you to come hear us for a free, open-practise concert this 15th of November. In addition to hearing some of the pieces of this semester’s program, you will have the opportunity to hear a bit more about the process of preparing an orchestral program, and about the functioning of the orchestra in general. Book your spot using the link in our description !
For those of you preferring neat and prepared music, this is the right event! Take your spots and meet us this 6th of December in the beautiful KU Festsalen in the heart of Copenhagen. Curious to hear how our full program sounds in this amazing venue ? Don’t hesitate any longer ! We cannot wait to share those musical moments with you !:)
