About this Event

Join us from 9:00am for networking and the marketplace before the formal programme begins at 9:30am. Refreshments will be served during the mid-morning break.

About the Event

Supporting people to stay in work when mental health, disability, neurodiversity or life circumstances begin to affect their experience of work is an increasingly important challenge for employers.

Creating workplaces where people feel supported, included and able to contribute benefits individuals, teams and organisations alike. Yet many employers tell us they are unsure where to start, what practical approaches can help, and what support is available when someone needs extra help to remain in work

This practical event brings together employers, workplace wellbeing specialists, inclusion experts and employment support professionals to explore what helps people stay in work, remain connected to work and return successfully when absence does occur.

Through employer case studies, practical tools, manager-focused learning and peer discussion, attendees will leave with ideas, resources and greater confidence to support their people.

You'll Hear From
Local Employers, Including Abraham Moon & Sons

Hear directly from employers about the practical steps they have taken to support wellbeing, build confidence to seek support, create psychologically safe workplaces and help people stay in work.

Recently recognised through Yorkshire Excellence in HR award, Abraham Moon & Sons will share lessons learned from developing its Mental Health First Aider network, encouraging early intervention and creating a workplace culture where conversations about mental health feel safe and supported.

Alongside Abraham Moon & Sons, you'll hear from other employers about the practical approaches they have taken to support employee wellbeing, encourage help-seeking and build supportive workplace cultures.
