What Does a Saint Look Like? ✨🙏
Maybe you picture a face in stained glass. But some of the most saintly people never looked the part: a woman with a red wagon leaving gifts on doorsteps in the dead of night, or a woman who lived among the poor for nearly five decades and told her admirers, “Don’t call me a saint.”
A young boy once said, “A saint is someone who lets the light shine through.” That might be the best definition we’ve heard.
This Sunday, we’re exploring the inspiring article from The Wired Word, “Christians Observe International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and All Saints’ Day,” to discover what it means that every follower of Jesus is “called to be saints.”
Paul wrote those words to ordinary believers in Corinth, and Hebrews pictures a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on as we run our race. Who are the saints who cheered you into faith? How can we stand with Christians who are persecuted today? And could God be setting you apart for something, too?
When: This Sunday, November 1
Time: 9:30 AM

Whether you’ve been running this race for decades or you’re just lacing up your shoes, there’s a seat saved for you, along with coffee and donuts! ☕🍩
