We're thrilled to invite you to Memorial Hall for this year's Summits & Horizons, our signature fall fundraising event! Join us on Thursday, October 15 to be inspired by stories of wilderness, community and connection, steeped in optimism from long-distance canoeist Neal Moore and Adventure Crew teens.
Neal Moore is the author of two non-fiction books – "Down the Mississippi" and "Homelands: A Memoir" – as well as numerous news articles. His 7,500-mile cross-continent “sea to shining sea” expedition was covered by major media around the world, who dubbed him “the modern-day Huckleberry Finn.” Folks he'd met during his 22-month journey traveled from all over the country to watch him arrive at the Statue of Liberty in his red Old Town vessel, which he'd paddled from the Pacific.
The evening begins with a 5 p.m. early admission for "optimist" ticket holders ($100). Social hour for those with general admission tickets ($70) begins at 5:30 p.m., and the program, which features Crew teens, Neal Moore's keynote and a paddle raise auction, begins at 6:30 p.m.
Your support of Summits & Horizons helps us make the outdoors more inclusive for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky teens. Don't miss it! Learn more and buy tickets at adventurecrew.org/summits
