Who is your tutor:
Liz Chaderton lives in a small village in Berkshire, working mainly in watercolour and ink. Liz paints to capture a moment of awe in a joyful watercolour. She aims for her art to remind you to appreciate life no matter how busy your day gets. While painting flora and fauna is at the core of Liz’s art practice, she is endlessly curious about combining traditional and new techniques in novel ways.
Suminagashi, the ancient art of Japanese marbling, combines her fascination with the flow of water, her interest in travel, the desire for mindfulness and her wish to bring new techniques into her practice. Liz has also written five practical art books, teaches extensively and shares her knowledge on YouTube.
