Aim of this Event
Promote understanding suicidality, barriers to disclosure, compassionate conversations, risk factors, safety planning, and best‑practice responses when supporting patients in acute distress.

PCN Staff, GPs, ANPs, FCPs, HWBC, SPLW

- The impact of suicidality
- Some important aspects of suicidality: Ambivalence & Interruption
- “Is it possible to ask the Suicide Team to talk through best practice for what should happen if we call a patient who is currently stating that they are suicidal?”
- Having the conversation with a person in distress: Compassion.
- Exploring suicidality and making judgements: Responding appropriately.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel with more than 5 working days' notice, there will be no charge. If you cancel within 5 working days and we cannot fill the space, then you/your organisation may still be charged. If you do not attend then you/your organisation may be charged.
If you are unable to attend and do not cancel your place on events repeatedly - this may risk your place at future events.
