As a child, Megan Woodward lived and traveled all over the world, but always felt at home with her head in a book. She’s a comedy screenwriter and a freelance writer and editor, but her true love is writing for kids. She loves all things food and humor related, which is why she can often be found laughing with her mouth full. She cannot whistle, but she CAN make a sound like a baby dinosaur (or so she believes). She lives with her son and two cats in Portland, Oregon, where it rains all the time, but never on her parade.
Her debut picture book, This Book Is Definitely Not Cursed, was released in 2024 by Simon and Schuster, and was put on the Amazon Editor's list for best picture books.
