About this Event
Did you know that Washington Heights has an orchestra? We do!
The Fountain Bookshop is partnering with the Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra (WHCO) this year as a Storytime with the Orchestra sponsor! This Storytime with the Orchestra series is geared to younger listeners; it showcases beautiful live music while also giving young ones an opportunity to interact with the musicians--and their instruments!
On Sunday, October 4, two talented WHCO musicians will be joining us at The Fountain Bookshop for story time to spread the word about their concert season. We'll be reading a wonderful selection of musical-themed books, we'll meet the musicians, and even hear their instruments!
Please join us for a very special story time showcasing our very own local orchestra!
