About this Event
Welcome to our open mat sessions, whether an absolute beginner looking for new ways to stay fit or an advanced competitor; no previous training or knowledge is necessary.
Open to ALL LEVELS interested in Olympic-style competitive wrestling technique in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Full set of rules, warm up and safety drills will be given and how to score points.
Mutual consent is necessary among participants wishing to train openly for Grappling, Jiu Jitsu, Bjj, Judo, Greco-Roman & Freestyle open mats to agree on what rules and time periods before shaking hands. Beginners, intermediate to advanced, there is space for EVERYONE! We highly recommend at least 4 Sunday technique training clinics prior.
