About this Event
Build Your Own Spell — with The Sing Easy™
The Sing Easy™ is a guided group voice practice exploring the voice as both an instrument and a feedback system. In this special workshop, we take that practice one step further: you’ll create a spell of your own.
A spell is an intentional ritual- and doing it with voice and your own personal spell is not only powerful, but purposeful.
The Sing Easy Spells are built to help establish or deepen your voice practice, a simple intentional piece to come back to when you just need to sing, or when you need a cellular reminder of who you are and what you want in life!
In this workshop, we build your spell in a group setting, and some will get to test their spell out with the group, in our curated Sing Easy circle.
No instrument, no singing experience, no "good" voice required. Just a notebook, something to drink, and a room of people doing the same brave, specific thing.
By the end, you'll leave with a spell of your own — words, melody, breath — something you wrote that you can return to whenever you need it.
This is the first time I'm running Build Your Own Spell in person, and I wanted the room to reflect that — intimate, a little experimental, priced accordingly. A limited number of scholarship and sliding-scale spots are held for anyone who needs one. No explanation required, just let me know when you register.
