About this Event
Come and explore this fantastic small nature reserve on a morning walk led by Veronica Schroter, local resident and Leg o'Mutton committee member. This old Victorian reservoir by the Thames was decommissioned over 60 years ago, and has been a haven to a wealth of birds and other wildlife. It is a fantastic small local nature reserve, and a real hidden gem so close to Central London.
Spring is a lovely time to explore the reserve, walking on the path around the water, under the blossoming trees and listening for bird song, guided by Veronica who is very knowledgeable about the nature reserve and its resident flora and fauna.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. If it's warm, bring a bottle of water with you.
Due to the narrow paths on this site, this walk is limited to 10 participants. Please book your place via our website or Eventbrite.
