Join us for a playful and inspiring workshop designed to make creativity fun, engaging, and accessible to all.
In this interactive session, we’ll explore the magic hidden in everyday life through poetry, movement, and sound. Whether you're completely new to creative writing or already enjoy performing, this workshop offers a supportive space to experiment and express yourself.
Participants will:
- Write their own original poems
- Collaborate to create a shared magical soundscape
- Explore movement and performance techniques
- Discover how creativity can transform the ordinary into something extraordinary
This is a relaxed, welcoming session focused on building confidence, connection, and imagination.
Who is it for?
Children aged 7-11 years old.
Facilitators
Led by poet Rachel Lewis and theatre-maker Jasmine Thien, experienced artists specialising in accessible and engaging creative practice.
This workshop is part of the SPINE Festival, delivered in partnership with Apples and Snakes.
