Experience a landmark in Irish cinema: An Taibhse (The Ghost), the first horror feature made entirely in Irish. Written and directed by John Farrelly and executive produced by six-time Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan, this award-winning, critically acclaimed film draws audiences into the darkness of post-famine Ireland. A father and daughter arrive at a remote mansion to care for it through the winter. As the cold closes in, their refuge becomes a nightmare. With haunting atmosphere, striking cinematography and powerful performances, An Taibhse is a chilling big-screen experience. Presented in Irish with English subtitles.
“Enigmatic, equivocal and deeply unsettling”
