As advertised in our "MenSA" newsletter Calendar - our "In-Person Meet and Greet" WILL "happen" this month. When you arrive, just look for the table with the "Mensa" sign. Introduce yourself and get ready for some wide-ranging conversation. (Note: We usually try to get a booth or table in the front portion of the restaurant. But if you don't see us there - check the back section of the restaurant.)
This is an opportunity for South Texan Mensans - newly joined or "old timers" to get together and talk. Exchange stories. Find out a bit more about each other. And - have a bite to eat at the same time.
It is also an opportunity for folks interested in finding out more about Mensa to stop by and ask questions.
Jim's Restaurant menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options - all day long. PS: Their biscuits are always outstanding! Also, their desserts (pies, especially) are very, very good.
The atmosphere is casual. Prices are reasonable. The wait staff is friendly. And - there are lots of tasty food options.
Located just "inside" Loop 410, on Broadway, this Jim's Restaurant has ample parking.
RSVPs are not required but would be appreciated (so we can be on the lookout for you).
