About the artist: Niny Salem is SE Asian jazz vocalist based in the Twin-Cities. She was born in Vientiane, Laos, and spent her formative childhood years living in Paris, France. What began over a decade ago as an unexpected path in music has grown into a full-time career doing what she loves.
With more than ten years of performing, Niny has cultivated a style that is deeply soulful, worldly, intimate, and soothing—a vocal quality so moving it has brought listeners to tears. Performing internationally and nationally alongside stellar musicians, she brings an extra layer of artistry to the stage through her ability to restyle songs and make each one entirely her own. Niny connects with her audience by weaving in playful banter and personal stories between songs, often singing in multiple languages. Her performances are memorable; you won't want to miss them.
Take a break from the holiday hustle and enjoy an afternoon of music.
