A nervous-system-soothing, immersive sound journey led by Michael and Sandra Katala (PlaygroundForTheSoul.net), guiding you into deep rest through harmonic and dissonant tones, vibration, and spacious stillness. Michael has over 30 years of percussion training and Sandra is a Board Certified Massage Therapist and Licensed Vibrational Sound Therapist. They've been offering community sound baths for 15 years. In this sacred sound immersion, your experience will be guided by unique world instruments: with frame drums, West African Harps, Shruti box, Buffalo Drum, Gong, Flutes and vocal toning as well as Crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, chimes and more; creating a landscape of musical texture.
Doors open at 7pm for a simple tea gathering — a chance to slow down and connect with your community, before the Sound Journey begins promptly at 7:30pm.
