About this Event
A beautiful hour of deep rest, relaxation and sound within the extraordinary surroundings of Asylum Chapel, as part of the INFLORESCENCE exhibition.
Our journey will begin with cacao – a gentle, heart-opening elixir that invites us to connect with the earth, ourselves and one another. This sacred plant medicine helps us soften and arrive in the moment, allowing the body and nervous system to settle before entering the sound journey.
From there, surrender to the boundless, enveloping resonance of the gongs, the purity of crystal singing bowls and the grounding heartbeat of the drum, alongside gentle percussion and moments of atmospheric, ambient sound. Mystical, emotive yet deeply grounding, the sound and vibration invite you to turn inward, soften, release and reconnect with yourself. There’s nothing you need to do, achieve or get right. Simply settle into the sounds and allow yourself to be present. You may drift in and out of thought, experience moments of clarity, notice thoughts or feelings gently rising to the surface, or simply find yourself resting in a place of deep relaxation, peace and balance. Whatever arises, let it be there. Nothing needs to be changed or fixed.
