Need to create professional video content for your organisation, but not sure where to start?
This practical one-day course will give you the skills and confidence to plan, film and edit engaging videos using just your smartphone.
Delivered by former BBC journalists and video producers, this course focuses on storytelling and communication as much as filming and editing. You'll learn not just how to create content, but how to make it engaging and effective.
By the end of the day, you'll be able to:
• Confidently film a range of well-composed shots
• Record professional-quality interviews
• Capture clear, usable audio
• Apply simple storytelling and editing techniques
• Organise, store and share your content effectively
The course is delivered through five interactive modules, combining expert tuition with hands-on exercises. Throughout the day you'll put your new skills into practice, creating a short video project and receiving feedback from our trainers.
After the course, you'll receive access to all course materials, along with a library of guides, resources and refresher content to support your future video creation.
