It’s the small things that make the world go around and biologists at the Department of Environment have been tracking them to study forest health. We’ll visit a forest plot that is part of the Community Ecological Monitoring program to chat with the biologist and more about how tiny mammals can show us what’s going on in a forest. We’ll check some of the live-traps and try to get a close-up look at these rarely seen critters.This event involves walking off trail over uneven terrain through the forest.
