The Village offers a collection of themed and contemporary architecture, landscape and garden views, and lots of little vignettes to sketch. The farmyard is nearby and Scholar’s Walk, between the Winery Retail Shop and the Wine Bar offers an iconic view of the historic Biltmore Dairy clock tower.This takes some maneuvering with Biltmore security to pull off and I need your cooperation to make sure entry goes smoothly. PLEASE email me, [email protected], BEFORE October 1 with your name if you plan to attend.
Even if you are a Biltmore passholder, I still need your name and intention to attend. I must provide an accurate list to the security team to set up gate access.
We will gather initially in the corner between Cedric’s Tavern and the winery, then disperse to find your sketching spot. Throwdown at 3:30. After, you may enjoy the features of the village – food, drink, ice cream, and wine! Some of us will definitely stick around to do a free wine tasting.
