The Ghostlight's Shining a Light Series and Queen City Queer's Table Reads are combining for one-night-only to bring you a platform to share your work in table read format like usual by QCQ, but this time with a mentorship component added by The Ghostlight so you can get feedback on your play in real time! We will be joined by Derek Snow, professional playwright, actor, and director who will provide guidance on where your piece could go next - you don't want to miss this incredible opportunity! We welcome all actors and playwrights at all skill levels to participate and sign ups to participate are first come, first serve until no more space is available. How does it work?
Playwrights will be sharing their work (which can be full length plays, part of a play, or even just an idea for a play) and actors will be reading the new pieces aloud in "table read" style. After each read is complete, Derek will give feedback. This is a great opportunity for actors to build connections with other local actors and playwrights, and practice their craft. This is a great opportunity for developing playwrights to get feedback from veteran theater artist, Derek Snow. If you can stay for the whole time or only some of the scheduled time, we're happy to have you!
