Get to know your sewing machine better! This workshop is led by experienced trainers Colin and Mary who will help you get comfortable with cleaning and maintaining your machine and being able to do minor repairs and adjustments yourself. You must bring your own full-size table top sewing machine and all its accessories (pedal, foot, bobbins, etc).The session will cover cleaning, oiling, stitch formation, tension adjustments and whatever specifics people are having issues with. Attendees will get ample time to practice what they’ve learned on their own machine and to receive hands-on support with problem solving and trouble shooting.
Attendees should have basic sewing experience and skills, as this is not an Intro to Sewing class but a workshop focused on helping sewists keep their machines in working order and be more comfortable navigating issues.
