🎃 OWN IT HALLOWEEN CHAIR DANCE EXPERIENCE with Lindsey Louise 🖤Own It is coming to Grit & Glow in Arlington Heights, and I’m SO excited to bring our chair dance experience to a brand-new space!
This one’s Halloween themed. Come sexy. Come scary. Come dressed as whatever puts you in the spooky spirit. 👻
We’ll learn a beginner-level chair dance routine that’ll get you moving, feeling sexy, and fully in the Halloween mood.
Never danced before? Perfect. You don’t need to be flexible, “in shape,” or confident when you walk in. I’ll teach you the routine step by step. You just need to show up ready to have some fun.
Bring your friends and make it a girls’ night, or come solo and meet some new ones. Either way, you get two hours to dress up, get out of your head, and do something just for YOU with a room full of women cheering each other on.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
7:00–7:15 PM — WARM-UP + GET COMFORTABLE
We’ll loosen up, shake off some of the awkwardness, and get acquainted with the chair.
7:15–8:30 PM — CHAIR DANCE CHOREO
I’ll teach you the routine step by step. We’ll work through the moves, transitions, and all those little details that make chair dance so much fun. No need to worry about keeping up, we’ll practice it together.
8:30–8:50 PM — OWN IT SHOWCASE
Time to put it all together! You’ll get to run the routine and have that “holy shit, I’m actually doing this” moment. No pressure to be perfect. Just have fun with it.
8:50–9:00 PM — COOL DOWN
We’ll stretch, breathe, and come back down to earth before heading out.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
A costume. Your favorite going-out outfit. Fishnets and a bodysuit. Something cute and comfy. Costumes are highly encouraged, but there’s no dress code. Wear whatever makes you feel good and lets you move freely!
Barefoot, sneakers, boots, or supportive dance heels are all welcome. Bring water, too. We’re going to need it. 😅
