About this Event
A sewing club for curious kids who love making things, trying something new, or just want to see what they can create with a needle and thread.
Whether you're brand new to sewing or have already spent some time at a sewing machine, this is a space to learn new skills, build confidence and get creative at your own pace.
We'll explore the basics of sewing machines, fabric, stitches and construction through fun, hands-on projects. From useful little accessories to wearable creations, each session is an opportunity to experiment, problem-solve and make something of your own.
No previous sewing experience is needed! Just bring your sewing machine, curiosity and a willingness to give things a go. Fabric and sewing tools are provided, however feel free to bring your own if you'd like :)
What to expect:
- Small-group sessions with hands-on guidance
- Creative projects and practical sewing skills
- A welcoming space to ask questions, make mistakes and try again
- The chance to meet other young makers and share ideas
- Something handmade to take home!
We believe making things is about more than the finished product. It's about figuring things out, getting a little messy, learning as you go and having fun along the way.
Before you come, please fill out this brief intake form by clicking the link below so I can get a sense of your sewing experience.
