This fall, we’re holding a three-day anti-imperialist symposium, Seeds Beneath the Snow.
Over three days, scholars and experienced organizers will share their knowledge with workers, students, organizers, artists, and community members who want to better understand imperialism, the world we live in, and how we can change it.
Through keynote talks, panel discussions, a film screening, and collective discussion, we’ll learn from history and from struggles happening today. Together, we’ll explore:
• Canadian Class Society and Imperialism
• Imperialism, Multipolarity, and International Struggle
• Race and Imperialism
• Gender, Disability, and Imperialism
• Reform, Revolution, and Imperialism
• Ideology, Political Education, and Imperialism
As Lenin wrote, “Without revolutionary theory there can be no revolutionary movement.”
We want Seeds Beneath the Snow to be a space to learn together, ask questions, deepen our political understanding, and strengthen our collective resistance.
No academic background or prior knowledge is needed. This symposium is for anyone who wants to better understand imperialism and the struggle against it.
More details, including virtual options for those outside of Toronto coming soon. ✊
