SECS Fest will be held November 6-8, 2026. The festival will showcase 45 short films and 2 feature films from around the globe, including the world premiere of a newly restored archival film. The festival will be presented in-person at the Beacon Cinema. THE SHAPE OF US (94 min.)
From flirtation and first encounters to long-standing histories, these short films explore the intricacies of relationship dynamics across abstract bedrooms, messy couches, small apartments, underground parties, an open road, red-rock landscapes, and an underwater dreamscape – reminding us that connection is not only shaped by communication but by the geographies of desire.
