Secondary Pathways & Social Community (G6-8)

Preparing for high school is about more than just academics—it's about finding your path and building your community! Hosted by York Region Educational Services, this workshop guides middle school students through secondary pathways, co-op programs, extracurricular opportunities, and social connections.

• High School Pathways & Co-ops: Discover various high school programs, specialized courses, and hands-on co-op opportunities.

• Building a Social Community: Master practical strategies for making new friends, expanding your network, and building a supportive peer group.

• Future Planning: Set meaningful goals to transition smoothly from middle school to high school.

• Who It's For: Designed specifically for youth in Grades 6–8 (and open to interested parents).

• Format: Free 1-hour sessions offered both in person (at Aaniin Community Centre in Markham),
