EVENT PRESENTER: SoulPaws Recovery Project unleashes the healing power of the human–animal connection to support individuals recovering from eating disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. An accredited nonprofit organization, SoulPaws has delivered over 400 free Healing Circles — clinician-led, trauma-aware group sessions with licensed therapy animals, reaching more than 1,600 participant interactions.
SoulPaws' evidence-informed animal-assisted interventions are grounded in the neuroscience of Dr. Bruce Perry. Each Healing Circle moves participants through the SoulPaws Calm → Connect → Heal framework, helping the nervous system settle, trust rebuild, and healing begin.
Join us at SOAP to experience components of a Healing Circle firsthand with licensed therapy animals — miniature horses and therapy dogs!
