About this Event
Join us for a special screening of Inside Iran: War & Revolution, directed by award-winning filmmaker Ben Zand and produced by ZANDLAND for ITV’s BAFTA-winning Exposure strand.
Following unprecedented protests and a devastating military conflict, the documentary goes inside Iran through extraordinary footage and first-hand testimony from ordinary citizens, journalists and grieving families, many speaking anonymously and at significant personal risk.
Their accounts piece together what happened as demonstrations against the Islamic Republic were met with internet blackouts and a brutal state crackdown, before escalating into an international conflict that left civilians facing US and Israeli bombardment.
At the heart of the film are the Iranian journalists and citizens determined to document events despite the enormous dangers involved. Their testimony offers a rare view beyond official narratives and geopolitical headlines, capturing the human reality of a population caught between authoritarian repression at home and warfare from abroad.
