Join us on September 23 for the SCD Congressional Caucus Briefing: Reimagining Emergency Care for Sickle Cell Disease. The Briefing will be in person in Room 2075 of the Rayburn Building in DC. Free and open to public, registration required.
The topic of discussion will be sickle cell care in the emergency department. This dynamic conversation will provide education from a community and clinical perspective. Lunch will be served while supplies last*.

The Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Caucus is a bipartisan platform dedicated to advancing policies that improve the lives of individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. The Caucus works to elevate awareness of SCD, support research and innovation, strengthen access to high quality care, and build support for legislation and federal funding that addresses the needs of the sickle cell community. Through collaboration with warriors, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates, the Caucus helps ensure that federal policy discussions reflect the realities of those most impacted by SCD.
