Craft your best scary short story and turn it in at your local library for a chance to have your scary story terrify your library and become an author! For the month of October teens in grades 6-8 and 9-12 can submit their scary short stories to their local library to share their stories and become authors. All entries will be read by librarians at the North Mankato and St. Peter Library. Librarians will pick a select few to be read and voted on by the patrons at both libraries. If you are selected to be voted on you will be notified that you are a final contender. If you win the competition you will be notified and have your short story published and entered into the North Mankato and St. Peter library collections. Winners may also participate in an author event. More details for the winners will be announced later.Stop by either library to pick up an entry form! Submissions accepted October 1st-21st.
