# MECHANICAL PROJECT AND INNOVATION IDEA SHOWCASING:

# NON - MECHANICAL PROJECT AND INNOVATION IDEA SHOWCASING:
CATEGORY:

Rules and Regulation:
1. Each team can consist of two members.
2. Members of a project must be from the same institution.
3. Registration will be done via Google form.
4. Participants must wear uniforms and carry ID cards respectively
throughout the event.
5. Participants are responsible for bringing all the necessary equipment
such as multi-plugs, laptops, glue guns, flash drives, etc. as the
organizer will not be providing any of these.
6. Participants must reach the venue before the
reporting time.
7. Each person cannot participate in more than one project.
8. SAGSC Science Club reserves the right to make any decision
during the competition.

# STARTUP
CATEGORY:
>Junior (6-10 & SSC 26)
>Senior (11-12 & HSC 26)
Rules and regulation:
1. Only individual entries are permitted.
2. Participants must propose a startup idea inspired by Science,
Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Environmental
Science, or Healthcare.
3. The concept must be original and designed to address a genuine
societal, environmental, or industrial challenge.
4. A physical model or prototype is welcome.
● Presentation Requirements:
The presentation should briefly explain:
i. The challenge or need being addressed.
ii. The proposed startup concept.
iii. The scientific or technological principle behind the idea.
iv. Expected users or beneficiaries.
v. Potential impact and future development opportunities.
vi. Participants may use PowerPoint, PDF slides, posters, or other
visual aids.
● Each participant will receive:
a) 5 minutes to present.
b) 2 to 3 minutes to answer the judges' questions.
c) Presentations should be concise, organized, and easy to
understand.
d) Visual elements such as diagrams, illustrations, flowcharts, or
mock-ups are encouraged to support the presentation.

# WALL MAGAZINE (SCIENTIFIC)

Rules and regulation:
1. Each team must consist of a maximum of two members with only
one wall magazine.
2. Members of the wall magazine must be from the same institution.
3. The size of the magazine should be a minimum of 5×3 feet. Every
participants must explain their wall magazines briefly.
4. Participants must reach the venue before the
reporting time on day 1, must be in their uniform, and carry their
respective ID cards and needed equipment for their wall magazines
(e.g., multi-plug, glue gun, scissors etc.). The organizer will not provide
any of these.
5. The SAGSC Science Club reserves the right to make any decision
during the competition.

1. It is a solo segment.
2. The subject of a scrapbook must be scientific or IT-based.
3. Participants have to explain their scrapbooks briefly (only applicable for junior and senior category).
4. Participants must reach the venue before the
reporting time on day 1, must be in their uniform, and carry their
respective ID cards and needed equipment.
5. The SAGSC Science Club reserves the right to make any decision
during the competition.

# DIGITAL POSTER
CATEGORY: OPEN
Rules and Regulations:
1. Students must register and submit online to participate in the
competition within the given time.
2. Participants have to upload the poster on the drive and make the
drive link shareable so that anyone can open the link.
3. Posters must be based on science or IT.
4. AI, copying and plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
5. Only one person is allowed for a single poster.
6. There is no specific size for the poster.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Participants must register online to participate in this competition.
2. Participants would have to create a scientific-based artwork within 1 hour.
3. Participants have to bring their equipment including paper. Authority
won't be providing any of these.
4. Painting will be done on 16’’x 11’’ cartridge paper.
5. The competition will take place offline.

Rules and Regulations:
1. This is an open segment.
2. The short film must be scientific, original, and plagiarism- free.
3. Film duration must be within 5 minutes and submitted online before the deadline.
4. The film may be in English or Bangla; subtitles are mandatory if needed.
5. All content (video, audio, script) must be original or properly credited. Copyright violations will lead to disqualification.
6. Films will be judged based on scientific relevance, creativity, clarity and technical quality.

# PHOTOGRAPHY
CATEGORY: OPEN
Rules and Regulations:
1. Each participant can submit a total of 2 pictures.
2. Both colored and black & white pictures with minor burning and color correction will be acceptable.
3. Watermarked or bordered pictures or pictures with excessive editing will not be accepted.
4. R-rated or adult pictures are strictly prohibited.
5. Pictures should contain your full name, phone number, and institution name.
6. The photographer must be the sole owner of their work and send it to our official email account.
7. a) For DSLR Submission-must be in JPEG/JPG Format and must be at least 3000 pixels on the longer side. The minimum resolution is 300 pixels.
b) For Mobile Submission- must be in JPEG or JPG format and must be at least 2400 pixels on the longer side.
8. If the submission is selected for the exhibition you have to bring the picture framed. A black color frame is preferable.
