Create unforgettable memories with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a festive holiday train, a special appearance by live reindeer, live Christmas carolers, music from the young violinists of Strings of Youth, and hands-on holiday crafts for children.
Be part of one of our most meaningful traditions: the official ribbon cutting of the Gingerbread Express Elevator, handcrafted by the hotel’s talented team with real gingerbread bricks. Each year, an honored family whose life has been touched by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital helps unveil the elevator and light the hotel’s Christmas tree.
Celebrate with purpose. All ticket sale proceeds are donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with additional funds raised through selected holiday gifts, teddy bears, and other purchases throughout the event.

Featuring more than 1,300 handcrafted gingerbread bricks, whimsical candy decorations, festive holiday music, and the sweet aromas of the season, the Gingerbread Express takes guests on a magical journey to the hotel's signature restaurant, Terrace 16.
The holiday tradition officially begins during RiverNorth Pole with a heartwarming ribbon-cutting ceremony led by a special family whose life has been touched by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Following the unveiling, the family enjoys the first festive elevator ride, marking the beginning of another season filled with hope, generosity, and Christmas magic.
