Save the date for the opening of our winter exhibition, Revolutionary Recipes featuring the work of Cincinnati-based contemporary artist, Adoria Maxberry.
Running from December 2026 through March 2027, Revolutionary Recipes will be a solo exhibition highlighting new original artwork, portraits, and ephemera which tell the story of Maxberry’s familial history and the central role of food in the home.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
About the artist:
Adoria Maxberry is a visual artist, educator, and creative entrepreneur, who is currently creating visual artworks that explore African American Cuisine. She has taught at Woodford Academy, worked as a lead teaching artist for Artworks, and is a voice actress and puppeteer for the Emmy-winning Books Alive! For Kids series and was recognized as a 2022 Black is Excellence: Unsung Hometown Hero by the City of Cincinnati.

About PAR-Projects: PAR-Projects is an artist-led organization with a mission to empower diverse communities of people who believe in the arts. As educators, we provide workshops & eight-week classes, related to career development & skills training. As working artists, we enjoy hosting thought provoking exhibits & large scale collaborations throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
PAR-Projects is currently in the midst of a major community development project in Northside, Cincinnati, that is transforming 3/4 of an acre of blighted land into a contemporary arts & education center. Within their campus they currently host a fine art gallery and a number of creativity-focused artist studios. As development continues, they will open an outdoor performance stage and outdoor movie theater, truly designed as a place to gather.
